Our Purpose

In Teen Week's Poetry Class, we sought to teach the students about the beauty of words and how the effect us, as well as to instill an appreciation for poetry through a dynamic course of introspection and surrender. Here is a collection of works written by the campers.

Confused

Confused
Deeply Confused

My expectations have been defied
As I stare into the face

Of one who's covered with white
Or in this case

Powdered with nowhere to go
But to leave and be cleansed
Was there a deeper meaning
Or a message that he tried to send?

Or was it just for fun?
An antic worth no response
Just to think upon these actions
Purring all past opinions aside.
